Dr. R. Shane Tubbs is a clinical anatomist and Professor of Neurosurgery and Anatomy and Director of Surgical Anatomy at Tulane School of Medicine. He is a prolific author and researcher in the field of surgical anatomy and has authored over 1,600 publication. Including over 50 books. He is an editor for the 41st and 42nd editions of Gray’s Anatomyand is the editor-in-chief of the journal Clinical Anatomy.
